Craft Fair Season Begins!

Monday, Sept 29, 2014

Craft Fair Holiday Season will be starting for me this coming weekend.

I'll be selling my crochet at the West Vancouver Community Centre Pumpkin Fest Artisan Market this coming Sunday, Oct 5 from 10 am to 3 pm.

I've been working all year - crocheting a little at a time - to prepare for this.

If you bought some of my crochet in the past - hats, scarves, gloves, headbands, boot toppers - or if you missed out please stop by and say Hi!

You might find the perfect handmade gift for someone or something you love!

I'll have more of the same and this year I'm adding a different patterned scarf and some beards!

Yes you read that correctly - crochet BEARDS!!

Here's my brother-in-law Mark wearing his.  It looks so natural on him doesn't it?

These are fun for dress up, halloween, or make great face warmers.

See you there!

Upcoming Holiday Sales Events

November 14, 2013

I've been busy crocheting up a storm for some upcoming craft sales events.

As well as restocking my hats and cowls, I've been making up batches of boot cuffs, head warmers and fingerless gloves.
These fingerless gloves are perfect for keeping your hands warm but your fingers free for driving and texting (not at the same time of course) and they're also great for keeping your hands warm for those late nights on the computer.

I'll be selling my hats, head warmers, gloves and boot cuffs at Elaine's Creative Dimensions Open House at 5634 Eagle Harbour Road,  West Vancouver   (click address for map) Tel 604 921 7881 on Thursday November 28th (date change)  7 -10 pm and also Thursday December 5th  7-10pm.

And don't forget about this awesome family event at the Gleneagles Holiday Artisan Festival on Saturday November 30 11-4pm.  Click HERE for link to Google Map.

Where's Marie?

I know I haven't been posting on here much but I've been very busy getting ready for some upcoming craft sales.
I like to crochet and I've done so much over the last year that I have enough for Christmas Gifts and Craft Sales!

Here's what my table will look like - it's in my dining room but I've got it set up for a show.

If you are in the Vancouver area and love to shop the craft sales please come visit me this Saturday, November 24 - 10 am to 1 pm - at Scrap Arts in North Vancouver (3rd and St Georges) for the Designers Marketplace.

I'll be at Makers Market at St Monica's Church in West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) on Saturday, December 1 - 10 am to 3 pm - too!

Stop by and say hello!

Until next time...

Lack of blog posts but staying busy...

I'm sorry that I haven't been posting much lately - is anyone still out there and visiting my blog?

I've been busy with other crafts (maybe I should change my blog title?).

Here's what I've been up to...

Mostly crocheting flower pins, scarves, cowls, and infinity scarves to stock up for next winter's craft shows and gift giving.

Also I recently learned how to make chainmaille jewellery.  Isn't this pretty?

And Until Next Time!

Sitting on the couch and doing some crochet....

I know I should be doing other things but I had a lot of PVRing to catch up on and while I watched I crocheted.

This is what I made last night:

2 soap holders for the shower

I know, I know who uses bar soap anymore?
Well I just got some nice soaps for Christmas (thanks Dee!) and I want to use them so I made these custom sized soap bags so that I can use them in the shower.  Don't worry I used acrylic yarn so that they will dry and not go moldy!

I also made this cowl scarf

And I started on this infinity scarf

Until Next Time!

Put a flower on it!

My daughter has been teasing me lately about putting a flower on everything I wear from sweaters, coats, scarves and hats.

I can't help it - I love making these flowers and wearing them.

Now I'm crocheting hats and cowl scarves!

Here's a couple of photos of my daugher and I wearing some hats I made with flowers.

Until Next Time!
